I had a pretty good week in fantasy, despite the setbacks in some of my teams with KAT and Nurk going down. My losses weren't as lopsided except for one so that felt good considering the PPDs this week. To be honest, as commish Eric and I do our daily quickies and weekly podcasts, I feel my fantasy game is improving bit by bit (the bar is not high really). Our discussion also gives me ideas on possible trade scenarios and potential long term pickups. I hope our listeners are feeling the same.
Anyway, today is week 4 judgement day! And in our quickie, we talk about some of the surprising rookies and what to do with them especially with some key players coming back from COVID protocols. Also, our kababayan Jordan Clarkson is making a run at this year's Sixth Man of the Year posting impressive numbers worthy of a fantasy feel-good player shoutout! Lastly, do you think Nerlens Noel is worthy of an spot in your roster once again?

*sigh* Another Lamarcus disappointment. Today was even worse as Jakob Poeltl outplayed LMA not only in minutes played but in stats provided. We don’t even know if it’s a buy low “opportunity” still, but with 13 games in, it seems like the expectations should be lowered. Hopefully he won’t end up in the DROP list. Though I won’t be surprised if he did. John Collins is another guy who is putting up uninspiring numbers and Commissioner Eric explains the problem with Collins and the Hawks.
Caris Levert is out indefinitely with what seems to be a serious health issue that was discovered during his physical, but let’s wait for official diagnosis before taking any action. Oh and CJ Mccollum sprained his foot and could miss time as well.
I know it’s Sunday, and I hate to bring you gloom and doom news, at least James Harden seems to be back to his old self.
Anyway, tomorrow’s week 4 judgement day so let’s hope for better performances.

Another day another COVID casualty. It is quite unfortunate what COVID has done to Karl Anthony-Towns. As if seven family members, including his mom were not enough, now it is KAT who will fight his own battle against the virus. I know fantasy managers are frustrated, but let's just hope he recovers and comes back better. Well, Kyrie's coming back, but the Nets play without James Harden just yet, so we'll have to wait a little longer before we see the Brooklyn's Big 3 in action. How are you dealing with the Trae Young problem? One of ten field goal in today's game with only 2 FTs. He has been on a bad slump since John Collins called him out. Trae owners (including me) is hoping the worst will be over soon.

Nurk Alert! Well not a good kind of alert as Nurkic tried to get his fantasy owners a nice block which ended up in him getting injured and will now be out for at least 8 weeks. Just as he was trending up our fantasy radar. It's been a roller coaster season for Nurkic owners, but injuries are a part of the game and we just have to deal with it and find ways to compensate the loss - making this game more exciting! Russell Westbrook also suffered a setback and is reportedly out for 3-4 weeks. This is on top of what seems like a mini-outbreak of COVID among the Wizards who now have 5 players testing positive. Anyway, Ja Morant is nearing a return, which should excite his owners. At least there's that good news.
Aside from our usual feel-good, buy (included in our weekly episode, because I made the wrong cut on the video) and worry players, we did a live Q & A with fellow benchwarmers! Lot's of nice insights and trade ideas!

What a day! Just yesterday, commissioner Eric and I were talking about James Harden and the best case scenario for him and his fantasy managers was for him to be traded. Today, we woke up to the news that James Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets! So for our quickie, we look at the Harden trade and how it impacts the players involved. Who wins and who loses fantasy-wise? What impact will this have to Harden's fantasy value given that he'll be playing along side Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

In today's quickie, we discuss the dilemma of having James Harden on your fantasy team. As we all know, Harden wants to be traded and with Houston, his fantasy value seems to have dipped as he continues to play uninspired basketball. He really wants out but the whole NBA seems to be quite busy fighting COVID among its players. So what should we do if we own James Harden? If you don't have Harden, are you still willing to take the risk of trading for him?

Since it was a late recording, we decided to just go live on our Facebook page today for our Daily Fantasy Quickie! We talked Kyrie Irving and how to deal with his "disappearance". Jusuf Nurkic's double whammy situation - not performing AND now injured! Such as disappointment. We also discussed Deandre Ayton's poor showing with some frustration from commish Eric. We also answered some of the questions that were posted while live. We'll probably do more live quickies in the coming weeks since we love the interaction and we had tonight.

Week 3 Judgement Day! Boston versus Miami game got postponed and I hope that did not kill your hopes of winning your week's matchup. Kristaps Porzingis could make his debut tomorrow, so at least there's that to look forward to and of course week 4! If your team lost week 3, it's time to get back on track. In our quickie, we talk about the usual buys, and feel good players from today's performances and a few players we're worried about including this year's first overall pick Anthony Edwards. Is Edwards a drop candidate already?
Also, check out commissioner Eric's daily post on possible next day streaming options in his written quickie!

Happy Sunday guys! COVID once again headlined the day with one of the more high-profile pick in Jayson Tatum testing positive this morning which would now force him to miss all their games in the next 10-14 days. Bradley Beal, who has been rumored to have dined out with Tatum yesterday, also missed today's game as part of the COVID protocol. The biggest blow however was not the COVID cases today but the injuries to Thomas Bryant of Washington and Atlanta's Bogdan Bogdanovic - both would most likely miss time with the former being in danger of missing the season (commissioner Eric says it didn't look too good). Nothing's final yet so let's keep our fingers crossed.
Lamelo Ball delighted his owners with a very nice triple double with efficient percentages, while Ricky Rubio got his minutes with KAT back in the lineup. We are still a bit worried about Atlanta's locker room situation especially after Trae Young produced some bad stat lines in the past few days. Let's see if Bogdan's injury would reverse that in the next few days.
