The first one is always the best... until the second one happens. After talking to some of my family I know listen to the show regularly a big emphasis was I didn't get enough time to talk about sports and give my full opinion. Worry no more, from now until this show is no longer going every Monday I will release an episode with just my sports opinions and analysis. Today I focus on Jon Jones and his crazy new legal scandal, then discuss the Olympics and their decision to hold the games in July, 2021. I finish up the show taking a deep dive into the NFC West and give my Mount Rushmore of rivalries in sports.

Over the last three years I have been grateful for the opportunity to realize and practice my passion which is sports radio. I wouldn't have been able to do this without Christian Saez who was gracious enough to add me to his original Gunnison Sports Talk team and live broadcasts. This week's episode, as it stands now, could be the last one ever recorded in Gunnison which would be sad but we definitely made the most of it if that is the case. It's another episode featuring my best friends Dan and Kyle but we went for broke and had seven people on this week, which by the way was made possible through our new microphone the Yeti blue stereo microphone with the four different directional pick up patterns. This was another episode where alcohol was involved but yours truly was not drinking during lent so hopefully it stays a little more on the rails and coherent. This weeks guests are Dan, Kyle, Dana (member of our Residence life staff), Aaron (also a member of our Residence life staff), Bentley (Dan's girlfriend), and Hadley (member of our friend group and was on her second date with Kyle) hence the title. We had a lot of fun and played Never have I ever, which I think could be the first time that was played over a podcast. I hope it isn't the last time we all get to be in the same space but if it was I'm glad they all wanted it to be on the podcast and helped me out in that way.

Thanks for being the Center of Attention

This week's episode of Center of Attention is a little more focussed than some have been in the past. When we recorded it UFC 248 hadn't taken place yet, and being that my guest shares nationalities with UFC Middlewight Champion Israel Adesanya, also being that he is the most knowledgeable person in the Gunnison Valley when it comes to fighting, I sat down with Rev "The Problem" Koka and geeked out over MMA for an hour and a half. Rev and I first met when I came to Western as a Freshman when he was a Sophomore on the offensive line and we have bonded over our mutual love of MMA and wrestling, and her is now one of the co-hosts of Gunnison Sports Talk Radio with me every Wednesday and Friday from 11-12 on KWSB 91.1fm.

Back at it again with a solo podcast, I like the way these have been coming out where we have a guest every couple weeks and in between I just get to talk with you all by myself and spew out some of the stuff off my brain. Wide range of topics today, starting g with a dirty joke, then I give an update on my life since the last time I had a solo episode, the ending of my live broadcasting career here at Western. Then I talk about some of the sports topics I haven't been able to address on the show yet, then I talk about some of the feelings I have on TikTok stars. After that I try out a couple new segments I might introduce into all the shows depending on how they go. Well... for a change of pace from last week's episode I decided to do the opposite of a mother/son show and brought on my two best friends Dan and Kyle.
