It happened once again ladies and gentlemen. In the face of danger we stood up and got us to the point where we are able to have live sporting events again as the UFC held one of the most exciting cards of the past year going back to last May Saturday Night in Jacksonville. Then just when we thought we were going to run out of things to talk about in the NFL Earl Thomas and his wife gave us one of the more bizarre stories I can remember. All in all this is a packed show and I am excited to bring it to you all. We will be back on Thursday with another episode about the rest of the world outside of sports.

Well that time has come, after making his seventh appearance on the show today Kyle and I part ways as I head back to the Metro area and he starts working over the summer for Western. Kyle has quickly become one of my closest friends in a short time and I am glad you all have been able to be exposed to his awesome personality and outlook on life, there is a short list of people I could see myself doing a podcast with and being successful in the future and he is on it. I guess we will see where things go, but I know for sure this won't be his last time on the podcast, its just going to be an extended absence.
Like the last couple Thursday shows Kyle and I have done we are a little all over the place talking about more topics than one could plan out, the dirty jokes still fly and the crazy opinions are still there. This is a good representation of two friends trying to make the most of the time they have before not living in the same city. We joke and we get serious, if you have enjoyed the last few episodes at all this will be right back in that wheelhouse.

Kyle decided to join me on this week's sports podcasts and he and I discuss best players, teams, and eras of all kinds of different sports. A little bit different than the previous sports episodes but I think this will be compelling to listen to and see if you agree with me or not and then if you can debate with me over it (my twitter is @JimmyPallotto, or I will also be responding to the Center of Attention page @COAPOD73). In the last few episodes that Kyle is able to be on before I head home this coming weekend.

Kyle returns for another appearance not the show, and once again brings something new from his previous times on the show. We discuss everything from human nature and how we ought to act in the world, at least the way we try to go about our lives. To hilarious stories from the youth, and of course at some point there will be an inadvertent inappropriate innuendo I will try to dance around. Its a great conversation and different than a lot of the content that has been on the podcast so far, while two best friends hang out while they can before I leave school to find a job and for Kyle to start his summer maintenance position on the Western Colorado University campus.

On today's sports episode of Center of Attention the main focus is the NFL Draft having taken place over the weekend and completely digital amid the current pandemic situation. But before discussing the biggest picks and initial reactions I talk about my experience watching the Michael Jordan ESPN Documentary Series "The Last Dance". After watching the first two episodes released last Sunday, and my trepidation about watching the Dennis Rodman episode that would have been released the night before. Then I look to see if there is any news on to the plan for the NBA and NHL as since the initial reports said they would try to return and do either the normal playoff set up or some abridged version both have gone silent.

If you have been following the show you now how Kyle sees the world and it is always something new and exciting. Trying to stay sane in the final stretch of the stay at home order and this episode is really all about two friends spending time together to as much as they can before the summer gets here and I go back home. Hey guess what? We are back like we never left with this solo episode of Center of Attention, thank you for supporting the show up to this point we hope you have been as entertained listening as we have been recording them. In today's episode I explain how I am basically Lieutenant Adrian Cronauer from Good Morning Vietnam as I try to keep some semblance of sanity during the lockdown. Then I talk about some of my old sports memories and how my dad taught me mental toughness through chewing my ass on the field. Then to lighten the mood I talk about some of the historical events that happened today like the Titanic sank on April 15th 1912, plus I recorded this on Jackie Robinson day celebrating 73 years since he broke the MLB color barrier 73 years ago today (yesterday as you are listening to this). After that I find a cute story to hopefully get you to smile through this quarantine with a sweet old lady. To wrap up the show I debate another versus battle this time between "The Terminator" Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne "The rock" Johnson.

This is coming out after the Holliday is over but nonetheless less I hope everyone had a happy Easter and got to appreciate their family members, even if there was no Masters or basketball to watch on tv. For the second sports centered episode of Center of Attention (see what I did there?). Today we talk about the All Decade team released by the NFL, how the Virus is letting the Astros off the hook after their cheating scandal back in January, the cancellation of UFC 249 and what that means for the rest of the sports calendar as a whole. We end the show by doing the Mount Rushmore of Gutsy performances in sports. In total its a packed episode and hope you enjoy.
