  • Food Security in America: Far From Normal meets HungerMitao

    In our long-awaited episode on food insecurity, Miranda and Shivani invite Mr. Raj and Ms. Anna Asava to discuss the movement, HungerMitao. Since 2017, HungerMitao has worked diligently to raise awareness and combat the hunger issue in the United States. Their impact revolves around community-driven volunteer and awareness sessions, food and fund drives, as well as multi-year pledges through HungerMitao sponsorship circles. The hunger issue has always been a rampant issue within the US, and with the negative impacts of the pandemic, the need to give back has only grown.
