The Budget session stated with President Ram Nath Kovind addressing a Joint Sitting of the Parliament on Friday. In his address, he talked about a lot of issues but he placed emphasis on three topics - the Centre's Farm Laws and the protests surrounding them, the Covid-19 pandemic and the bitter border skirmishes with China.
