In this episode, I meet the brilliant
Peter Doughty-Cook, Founder of
Artisan Bakery, Peter Cooks Bread, in Herefordshire.
Peter was named National Baker of the Year in the BIA awards
2022, won Britain’s Best Loaf in 2020, has been awarded numerous Great Taste Awards and all round winner in the World Bread Awards, to name but a few of his accolades.
He is an ambassador for the Real Bread Campaign, calls Dan Lepard a personal friend and has a huge passion for sharing great bread with others.
We chat about the joys and challenges of owning an artisan bakery, how it feels when your cruffins are so good they move people to tears and what makes a great sourdough loaf.
