This film is one that has always stuck with me. From the first time I saw it in the cinema, to the many years I owned it on DVD when I lived on the West Coast. It has been about 10 years since I've seen it and Mikey wanted to talk about it on the pod for June.

Both of us were a crying mess for many reasons but this tragic and emotional story is history and everyone should watch it. While the story ends in a brutal assassination, there is much to be learned here about community and the importance of unity despite differences.

Harvey Milk was an incredible leader and helped so many people and still does by having his mark on society. Being the first openly gay person to be elected to an official office and inspiration to many helped lay the groundwork in politics and the diversity we have today.

Directed by Gus Van Sant, and incredibly acted by Sean Penn (who won an Oscar for his role) this whole community was brought to life on film and even endorsed and collaborated with Harvey's own friends and colleagues.

We get into the history of getting this film made, how Sean Penn got into character, the personal connection of the wardrobe, and other facts from how the story played out in 1978.

For years I was always freaked out when I saw the cover for the film, Leprechaun. I had it in my head that it was some weird twisted horrific tale and I had been saving it for the pod for this very moment. Needless to say I was so wrong and this movie was hilarious and I can't wait to see more of the series. 

Mikey is along on this episode as we laugh at the many quotes, hilarious transportation modes, and get into why Jennifer Aniston would like to pretend this film doesn't exist.

I'm back! Yes, it's been a while and there is no more perfect film to return back to my routine than Paris, Texas from 1984.

This is my first ever watch and it would be an understatement to say that it's been a long time since cinema has moved me the way this did. I always have seen stills and thought it was from a fashion shoot or a photo spread and to see these images in motion. It had me thinking of my own relationship with photography and how I adore the cinematography of Robby Müller.

I get into how I was in the perfect place to absorb this , the overwhelming nature of the scope of the story, a strong third act, and fashion visuals that will stay with me for a while.

Just a few weeks ago I connected with an old friend from back in my NY days. We quickly got on to how much we love The Real Housewives. Listen to me and my friend Callum, a creative arts therapist talk about the many dynamics of women from multiple cities in the franchise. It was great to get his perspective and we mainly talk about what we think is one of the current standouts, Salt Lake City. 

We give our rundown and opinion on the ladies, talk why RHONY means so much to us to this day, and how the show has evolved over the years for better or worse.

If you can believe it I've gone my whole life without seeing the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie. This is yet another one to check off on the list of nostalgia watches. I remember watching the tv series in the first season but boy did this world really expand! Me and Mikey are back to talk the ultimate camp movie about mid 30s teens of Angel Grove that somehow everyone knows they are superheroes? We talk about the film being saved by a campy villain, the amazing fashion coordination, and our childhood memories of the tv series.

Well, it was high time we take a bite out of the second Jurassic Park movie of the 90s. Widely known as a far inferior sequel, (and they're right) but it was directed by Spielberg so how bad could it be? Me and Charles take the opportunity to tell you exactly how bad and just all the many reasons this was doomed from the start. 

There is no better co-host than Charles to talk about the films that electrified him as a youth seeing them multiple times in the theater. We talk the MANY differences from the novel to the screen, just how weird the whole daughter storyline was, and just why it fell apart as soon as they got off that island.
