Fasting Benefits + Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet

Same here! I love that fasting uniquely stimulates a cell clean-out process called autophagy. With my family history of dementia and type 2 diabetes, fasting is especially important for me. However, the idea of going days without eating is just...off the table. See what I did there?

This happens because fasting helps to reset our metabolic flexibility (ability to switch between using carbohydrates or fat for energy).
