FKOF Premiere!

Remember the dubstep producer/ DJ Fable? He had some wicked tunes back in the day. His last release under that alias was the 'Transitions' album way back in 2014. Delighted to report Roberto is back on production under a new alias - @mntxbeats - and you can expect big things.

'Flo' is taken from a 9 track series of free digital dubstep and grime productions, accompanied by original artwork photography supplied by visual artist Ainsley Myles (@mylesinthesky). Each track from the series was released every 2 weeks, over the 18 weeks since January 2020.

You can grab the DL of this, and the other 8, via the buy link - it's PWYW on Bandcamp so if you can, spend some cash...

Bern's @phrex brings two mesmerising dub-esque cuts to imprint NILE. As mysterious as this record is, the sonics are dedicated to the Syrian uprise of nine years ago. It's around this time when the Syrian regime went berserk.

A lovely offering of Switzerland's Dub-oriented producer, who seems to pop up with the weight once and a while. Note: Besides the Syrian vibes, this limited pressing includes a little surprise at the end of the record.

'NILE1' is set for release on 20/03/2020 and will be available thu all known physical vendours, with digitals following two months after release. Hit the buy-link to support underground music at its finest...

FKOF10!

We survived 10 years. Holy FKOF we did it - with your help! To celebrate, we've put together a record worthy of getting through our first decade. 8 tracks. 4 remixes. 2 records. 1 FKOF vibe: beats, bass and space.

The FKOF10 ‘A’ record features 4 artists new to both physical and digital imprints. We have original mixes from @Feonix, @maessounds, @Ourmanmusic, Eshone & @djwheezie.

The FKOF10 ‘B’ record features 4 heavyweight remixes of FKOF material from the last 10 years. @Distance has reimagined @roklemdubs’ ‘Forged‘ from FKOFd039. @N-Type has done @subreachers’ ‘Fear‘ from FKOFd002(!). @LXOne has put his twist on @Phossauk’s ‘Drones’ from FKOFd037. The godfather Benny Ill, the one and only Horsepower Productions, has remixed Madda from our 2016 FKOFd029 EP with @Chokez.

I met Klaudia, you may know her as @k-o-dngnbts, when we were both DJing with the @dngnbeats crew in Poznan, Poland earlier this spring. She’s a resident DJ across two crews (Dungeon Beats and DrumObsession) in the city; where she’s known for her impeccable 2 (and sometimes 3) deck mixes at both 140 and 170bpm+.

We found some time between shows to sit down, chat through how she got started and what she’s up to and what’s next…

The now firmly established @kikujirecs never fails to amaze with their forward-thinking choice of emerging repertoire, welcoming 'a needle in a haysack' @aHannibalRex to the imprint.
