This week's choice was good but also at the same time it was disappointing for Jack. The story was there but the ultimate goal of the Main Protag was reached within the first half of the show changing the goal of the character quickly. Additionally, the ending is left open with no sign of a season 2 being in the works.

But even with that, it was still a great show and it entertained you even if it left you with questions. The character building was solid and it made you want to binge the show.

Next week's choice is Snow White With The Red Hair. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? Let us know what you thought of them or give us a recommendation on what we should watch next!

This week's choice was certainly an interesting one. A deadly disease that has a 100% death rate and the solution, at least what the public is being told this, is to send people into cryo so that they can work on the cure. Only to find out that they are not there to be cured but to be experimented on. "Medusa" (The Virus) you find out is a space virus and to get infected you find out is to undergo severe trauma. The story that is also being told throughout the movie is an alternative version of Sleeping Beauty that we both found pretty interesting.

For this choice, Rick shot from the hip with a gut choice, and we both feel like was certainly not a disappointment and it was well worth the watch. Though the overall length was short it, it gave a solid story with no needless fluff. The music was great as well as the animation style. This is certainly worth your time to watch. However, the ending is not a happy ending so if that is something that you are looking for with a happy book ending. This does not really give you that but it does give you an ending at the very least.

This week's choice was a good one although it did have some flaws and plot persocoms. The protagonist was not likable for us and there were some issues that we had taken issue with. A lot of the story seemed bland, which was also a part of its draw, or like it was just there and served no purpose and did not move the story along. That being said it was entertaining and is something that you can watch again easily.

This week was a great choice. Once that we will admit (or at least Jack will admit) are a little biased on. The story was great and the music is one that is beautifully composed. The heart and soul of the music and characters come across perfectly and there is no "Training" montage for them because they are in a manner of speaking already professionals in their own right. So it leaves you with a pure story and no filler. We both agree that if it is not one that you have seen that you need to watch it.

What a great movie for this week. Being from the director of Paprica and Perfect Blue this original work was certainly unique and entertaining. The storytelling was one that was entertaining and heart-touching. The comedy in it was a little dark or not very light-hearted but it went with the mood and did not feel out of place in it. However, if you are looking for something psychological then this is not the one for you because it certainly is not that. It is a story about 3 people who are homeless and happen to stumble upon a baby they go through a journey to try and return the baby to the parents and they go through some trials and you learn about their past and how they come to terms and resolve the problems with their past. It is well worth the watch if you have not seen it.

After several years we finally got a season 3! But it was half the length of the first 2 seasons, and honestly, we were okay with that. We felt that if it was any longer the 12 it would have done more harm than good. The show overall lightly touched on politics for the world and also showed you what was happening to Krusty with some solid world-building and explanations. If you have seen the first 2 seasons then season 3 is a must for you.

This week's choice was certainly an interesting one. It was basically a continuation of the first movie however they did not really deal with anything having to do with the first movie. The flow was off pace and the dog, to us, was so out of place we could not help but be drawn to it. The movie did give you some views on how far hacking a person could go and that no one was safe from it unless you had no cybernetics in your brain.

This week was a great trip down memory lane for both Rick and Jack. It rekindled our love of the series and the movie sent us on a trip down memory lane. The Soundtrack is one of the best out there if not the best and the animation still stands up even after 20 years! The story wastes no time in setting the foundation for the movie as well as helping those who have not seen the series understand the dynamics of the Bebop crew and who they are each individually. Even if you have never seen the anime before this is still worth a watch and it is a great introduction to anime in general for those who are still new to the genre.

This week was a trip down memory lane with Ghost in the Shell. It certainly was one that you could dissect. The animation, for Jack, did not age well but the story and movie overall did and it is one that can be watched enjoyed even 26 years later. But the ending is insanely open and it certainly leads you to think that there will be a sequel and luckily there is. I also really dives into some moral sides as to what a human really is and it also shows you the concerning side of technology in your brain.
