This week's choice was certainly an interesting one. In that, it was confusing and odd. The animation style was odd and not something that we really cared for when it came to characters, the scenery was beautiful it certainly was one that took the majority of their budget. The voice actors were good the writing not so much. Would we watch it again? No, we would not. Was it worth the watch? No, it was not. The music in it though was tasteful and well done.

This week was the second season of Log Horizon. And honestly, it was not that great, at least the second half was not great. The first half was really good and we both loved those 12 episodes. But to the credit of the creators, the second half did give some motivation and background to the character. But, it could also have been done in a fraction of the episodes and still get the point across.

This week was a great one for both of us. It was truly a great trip down memory lane for both of us. The character development was great. The story was simple yet complex and. The animation was clean and no real flaws that stood out to us, which is why we both gave it a 10. We could not be happier with the show and feel that it is worth a watch even if you are not into anime that much.

This was a great movie and well worth the watch. So much so that Rick and Jack actually want to buy a physical copy of it. It is an original work that actually has novels based on it which is a nice change of pace. The character development is solid, a great story that pulls you in and the icing on top is the great soundtrack. So if you are looking for a movie that will tug on your heartstrings a little in a good way and while giving you something entertaining to watch this is a movie for you!

This week was a choice by Jack and while it was labeled as a horror it is not really horror in a scary aspect but rather gruesome in how people were being killed. But even with that the background stories of most of the main characters are pretty messed up and sad. But when the series is all said and done it leaves one hell of an open ending and on top of that you look back at the pure ludicrousness of it all and just cannot help but laugh.

This week's choice was given to us on Twitter by @Tobiyashi067. It was a good revisit for Jack and Rick thought it was pretty good too. Even with the open ending, it was still a good watch in prep for season 2 coming out in January 20212. That all being said, this show does not waste time hooking you and making you sit on the edge of your seat. It is also one of the few shows that show you the dangers and what is happening right up front leaving nothing to your imagination. But do not worry it's not one that takes away from the enjoyment of the show and instead, it just gets progressively worse for the protagonists. The animation style is also something that we both found enjoyable especially when it comes to the characters to help convey the emotion then you couple all that with some great music then you are all set for a thrill of a show that will leave you wanting season 2.

This week's choice was a good revisit for Jack and a good one that made Rick watch it twice. Following the main protag Mima and her journey through becoming a TV star from a Pop-Idol at least that is what you are lead to think at first, but then things take a twist with her manager Rumi pretending to be Mami and eventually thinking that she is Mami and killing everyone that is portraying her in a way that Rumi does not like. It even causes Mami to question her whole outlook and leaves you on the edge until it gives you a satisfactory end. And while watching it for the first run-through may make you miss a few things watching it a second time through will really bring it all together.
