David Faber and Jim Cramer started the hour by looking ahead to the Federal Reserve kicking off its 2-day policy meeting, where the group is largely expected to leave rates unchanged. Cramer also broke down the MAG7 names with Microsoft shares set to report after the bell. Other earnings movers this morning included pharma names Pfizer and Merck, both topping estimates; however, shares of Merck dropped following light sales of its Gardasil HPV vaccine. After the opening bells, SoFi CEO Anthony Noto joined the show to break down his company’s quarterly results.
