The King is the Lord God, The Son is Jesus, the feast represents the Gospel. the ones who refuse to come are God's people-the Jews. The ones from the hiways and byways are all who will come, including the gentiles. Jesus calls us to come to the Lords table.

David's sin and his repentance of it. We have an advocate with the Father.

A cry of David for Mercy. He confesses his sin then asks for cleansing and for an intervention to keep him from sin. He cries create in me a new heart.-At the end, he promises to teach others about God's goodness and of his righteousness.

the Psalm speaks of the closeness between us and our Savior. This Psalm is very personal and intimate. David tells us that God is predominant in our lives. David shows us God as shepherd. Jesus picks this up as He states He is the Good Sheperd.

Those who sin are slaves to sin. Jesus the Son will set you free, and you will be free indeed.

Habakkuk realizes - knows trouble is coming. How do we find help in time of trouble- God has shown Habakkuk His future plans with the Chaldeans and Habakkuk is humbled and yields to God. Habakkuk met with God and is responding accordingly.-People do not fear God today. They have no sense of history and God's guiding had over the years.-Habakkuk rejoices in the Lord, he takes joy in the Lord.

Habakkuk discovers God has a larger plan. He sees from God's perspective. God is a God of History and uses all for His purposes.

Revelation was written that we might know Jesus better. It gives us encouragement in our walk with Jesus for it is a vision of Jesus in His Glory. Revelation drives us into scripture, for the whole foundation rests on the covenant of grace. All are to bow down to Christ at the second coming. All will be brought into consummation.

Habakkuk's prayers change after he hears from God and understands now who he -Habakkuk- is. He no longer compares-Jerusalem to the Babylonians, but to a Holy God.

Paul leaves this letter at the feet of Jesus for what we believe is born out in Christ. God supplies the needs of his people as the saints continue the gospel in their lives until eternity. We may face momentary light affliction here on this earth but we shall be like Christ in eternity.
