MAY THE ABORTION ACCESS FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Description: Moji and Marie grab the reigns for this episode of the Feminist Sleeper Cell! They unpack the racist anti-abortion rhetoric behind the Helms Amendment, have some choice words for Sen. Josh Hawley (who thinks the US Supreme Court actually cares what he thinks), and digest the unfortunate vote in Mexico that could have brought safe abortion to Veracruz. They also pinky swear they will never attend a fake-clinic conference in Disney World. PLUS INTERVIEW WITH SPECIAL GUEST Jessica Barry, author of a great summer abortion read!

Guess Who Owns www.operationsaveamerica.com . . .

Greeting friends! It’s “Expose Operation Save America” week and Moji, Marie and Lizz have spent hours attending OSA’s online speeches and panel discussions during their annual gathering of the Misogyn-o’s. OSA is the scariest hate group you’ve never heard of and we will bring you soundbites and analysis of this event so you can learn about them, and join us in exposing their dangerous agenda! Plus our guest is Kim Gibson, Pink House Defender and co-founder of the non-profit We Engage! Kim talks with us about her first hand experience with the terror of OSA outside of her clinic in Jackson, MS and talks with us about the growing political influence Operation Save America is gaining in state and local politics, across America.

MAY THE ABORTION ACCESS FORCE BE WITH YOU!

This week snapped our neck a bit with good and bad news- First the bad- SCOTUS decided that the HR Department at “Oppression R Us” can cite their morality as a reason to not cover birth control in their healthcare plans.

Chalk up one more reason why we need the ERA, stat!

BUT, in a strange amount of GOOD NEWS, a flurry of judicial smackdowns happened in the lower courts that left anti abortion overreachers sulking back into their sewers. For now anyway. All that  plus, will Marie and Moji stump Lizz in this weeks, “Six Degrees of Abortion?” We are back, bay-beeeees!

For Friday, May 15th — Pour yourself a Harvey Bible-Banger and make sure you're caught up through episode #6 of Mrs. America. Our special guest this week is brilliant author, journalist, and CNN contributor Joan Walsh! This week we're supposed to *gulp* sympathize with a Republican woman who *legit surprise face* actually believes in abortion rights! You know we'll have a lot to say!
