Michelle Miller is a talented multidisciplinary artist, therapist and author of the upcoming book, 'Heart First,' a female psychedelic travel memoir filled with adventure, humor and spiritual insight. In this episode, we dive into the story of her book. Beginning with early LSD use at the age of 15, she narrates her travels through the US and Central America, living the van life, hitchhiking, going through toxic relationships and being voluntarily homeless. We explore 'hippy dogma' and 'spiritual' beliefs which ironically become self-limiting instead of expansive and liberating. We venture into her process of settling down in Santa Catalina, building a hotel, restaurant and wellness center, to then sell it all and dedicate herself full-time to writing and artwork.
