​بَكْرَةُ العَوْدَةِ بَعْدَ أَشْهُرٍ مِنَ الصَّمْتِ… يَعودُ "فِي البَال" بِصَوْتٍ يَنْزِفُ حَنِيناً مِنْ قَلْبِ المَنَفَى.

​عَشْرُ سَنَوَاتٍ كَامِلَةٌ فِي الغُرْبَةِ—عَشْرَةُ أَعْوَامٍ بِلَا عَنَاقِ أُمٍّ، وَبِلَا رَائِحَةِ خُبْزٍ دَافِئٍ، وَبِلَا مِلْجَأٍ آَمِنٍ يَحْمِي الرُّوحَ مِنْ بَرْدِ العَالَمِ. فِي عِيدِ مِيلَادِهِا السَّادِسِ وَالعِشْرِينَ، تسْكُبُ الرَّاوِية خَوَاطِرَهُ بَيْنَ صُوفِيَّةِ الرُّومِيّ وَوُجُودِيَّةِ كَافْكَا، لِتنْتَجِجَ مِنْ حُرُوفِ اسْمِ أُمِّهِا "رَ نْ دَ ة" مِلْحَمَةً شِعْرِيَّةً تَحْمِلُ خَنِيقَ الشَّوْقِ، وَاعْتِرَافَاتِ التَّعَثُّرِ، وَمَرَارَةَ الأَسْئِلَةِ عَنْ بَيْتٍ انْدَثَرَ وَوَطَنٍ مَفْقُودٍ.

​"رِسَالَةٌ إِلَى رَنْدَة" لَيْسَتْ مُجَرَّدَ حَلْقَةٍ أِثِيرِيَّةٍ، بَلْ هِيَ صَلَاةٌ صَامِتَةٌ، وَوَثِيقَةُ حُبٍّ خَالِدَةٌ مُهْدَاةٌ إِلَى الحُبِّ الأَوَّلِ… إِلَى رَنْدَة.

​After months of silence, Fi Al Bal returns with a raw, atmospheric reflection on exile, memory, and the very first sanctuary we ever knew.

​Marking her twenty-sixth birthday—and a full decade lived away from home—Rama uncovers the quiet grief of ten years spent without a mother’s embrace, the scent of fresh bread, or a place to truly rest. Woven between the mysticism of Rumi and the existential shadow of Kafka, "Letter to Randa" centers on a spellbinding acrostic poem carved directly from her mother’s name (R–A–N–D–A). It bridges the intimacy of missed calls and unfulfilled promises with the devastating reality of a collapsed homeland and an enduring longing.

​Part confession, part prayer, and deeply cinematic, this episode is an unbreakable love letter to her first love—her mother, Randa—and a tribute to anyone who carries their true home inside their chest.

​من عتمةِ مقهىً في صيف ٢٠٢٤، وُلدت قصيدة "الطير الأزرق"؛ لم تكن مجرد كلمات، بل كانت انكساراً لختمٍ خفيّ وانعتاقاً لأجنحةٍ ياقوتية من ركام الورق. في هذه الحلقة من في البال، نسيرُ معاً على ذلك الخيط الرفيع الفاصل بين السكينة والتضحية، بين دفءِ حجرِ الأم وقممِ الجبال الشاهقة حيث تتوحد الروح مع بارئها.

في عالمٍ تتقاذفه التُّهم، وتُرتَكَب فيه انتحاراتٌ مُسبقة لأرواحٍ أنهكها الصمت…ماذا يعني أن تبقى حجرًا كريمًا في مدينةٍ من حديد؟

في هذه الحلقة من في البال نسير معًا على حافةٍ وعرةٍ بين صقيع اليأس ونور الخالق؛رحلةٌ تبدأ من طفيليات الجسد، وتمضي نحو الصفاء.

إنها حكاية آدَماتٍ صغارٍ وحوّاءاتٍ تائهات، وُعِدوا بالفردوس لكنهم وجدوا الأبواب موصدة،والأشجار التي ظنّوها مثمرةًقد ذبلت.

This opening episode is more than an introduction—it is a return to the beginning. Here, I share the story behind the voice: who I am, where I come from, and how exile, memory, and language shaped the path that led to the creation of Fi Al Bal.

In this first episode, I open the door to the journey ahead: the vision behind Fi Al Bal, the stories it hopes to carry, and the space it seeks to create for those who listen, remember, and feel.

This is where the story begins.

A first breath.

A return to what lives in the heart—and on the mind,  to what lives fi al bal.
