Fight Disciples Podcast

Happy New Year!

We're back in the swing looking ahead to what could be a barn storming year for fight sports.  Before we do that though we take a look back at the previous 12 months.

A year that saw Youtubers headline PPV cards and Heavyweight boxers take up wrestling.

We name our fight, fighter and KO of the year as well as making some predictions for 2020.

He destroys everything they put infront of him.

Dynamite Daniel Dubois is knocking out opponents in devastating fashion and starting conversations between fans as to whether he could mix it with the big boys at heavyweight ALREADY.

As well as a brilliant night at the copper box in London we talk extensively about Chavez Jr and the joke that he is.

We also look ahead to Gervonta Davis making his lightweight debut.

Rarely does genuine beef translate into a mega fight but Usman vs Covington exceeded all our expectations.  The whole card from Vegas was tremendous with only one title belt changing hands.

We also discuss what we want for London in March as well as looking ahead to the return of Conor McGregor.

The hype on our show has been real for Teofimo Lopez but on Saturday in Brooklyn it became reality.  The man nicknamed the Takeover, took over the lightweight division and lined up a showdown with Lomachenko.

In other news, Tyson Fury has a new trainer and the WBC continue to be a shower of shite.

Slightly later than usual this week but I'm sure you will agree it's well worth the wait.

We give you a quick review of UFC Washington before we get stuck right into the most exciting card of the year.  3 world title fights and two contests that could easily headline any fight night.

As well as that we bring you some news regarding the main event for UFC London.

The rain came down in biblical fashion for the showdown in Saudi but it didn't deter Anthony Joshua from his destiny.

Have you ever seen him put on a better performance?

From the first bell he was sensational and reclaims his heavyweight championship belts.

As well as talking AJ, we throw shade towards the way UKAD have dealt with Dillian Whyte.

It's been two weeks since the UFC brought us any action so we are delighted to be looking ahead to this weekends fights in the American capital.

As well as that there's also the return of a certain Irishman.  Not the Netflix epic staring De Niro, the former champ champ of the UFC.

Conor McGregor is back baby!
