New Iowa Volleyball coach Jim Barnes grew up in the deep south and has spent most of coaching career in that region but he's well aware of how strong the upper Midwest and Big Ten teams are in this court game. Recently Wisconsin beat Nebraska for the NCAA title. Behind those two come Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue and Michigan as power programs in America's top conference by far. In a sport that now numbers more participants than college basketball, Barnes relishes the chance to move Iowa into that group. Jim Barnes steps to the Microphone on this weeks Fight for Iowa!
