The past couple years of my life hadn't been the easiest. But they have been the most rewarding. I endured crippling anxiety, seeked help, went to treatment, graduated into IOP, Graduated High School, traveled, started at Southern Methodist University, and now... I just moved into my own apartment in Dallas Texas. Chasing my dreams, making new friends, getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, and falling in love with a new place has been the most beautiful and rewarding gift I could receive.
The fight hasn't been easy, but i always rooted for myself and hoped to find light at the end of the tunnel. Im going to keep chasing that light and continue to grow, become independent, and learn to be my biggest fan. The world has so much to share with each of us, and I hope Fight For You podcast can help you in one way or another. Welcome to my journey, and the rest of Fight For You's.
Happy to be back ❤️🩹
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK! thank you so much for being here :)
Love, Lils ♥️

I had the Honor of interviewing Ms. Sophie Cohen on Todays Episode. Todays episode, is my first episode being in college, and I'm so happy I had a friendly face on the other side of it with me. Sophie is 24 years old, living out her lifelong dream of working in the fashion industry in NYC. Sophie Graduated from Tulane University in May of 2020, but originally from the same hometown as me, Seattle Washington. Sophie’s Journey is one of following her heart, pursuing her passions, stepping outside of her comfort zone and working towards becoming the woman she has always dreamed of, but also sharing it with the world.
Sophie is now on TikTok, with about 50k followers, sharing her love for the world, fashion, and New York to all of her followers. Sophie has a beautiful outlook on the world and I'm so excited for everyone to hear her episode

Quote shared by Sophie: "There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you, we are all meant to shine, we are born to make and manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same."

The last few months have been the hardest of what feels like my life. I struggled severely behind doors. I shut people out, broke down and allowed myself to create this circle around me. This circle included severe anxiety that caused me to not only be able to go to school, but leave my room or be with family. I finally took the real step in the right direction to healing. This journey has not been easy but it has been eye opening. The last Month and a half i have spent in a PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mood and anxiety. This has been extremely difficult to leave school and my everyday structure that I had. I had t rebuild the structure within my new plan, where i went to therapy for 7 hours 7 days a week. This process want easy but i wish i could say i hated it. This program taught me the skills and confidence I've always been looking for. Although this is only the beginning of my journey to heal I'm proud to share my story and cant wait to continue to. My story will be different then each and everyones, but my story is just as real and as important. YOUR mental health matters. YOU matter. I hope by having a look into my mental health journey it will remind you that we all have struggles big and large. No matter what, Life is Worth Living.

Jenna is 19, raised and born in Seattle. She's currently taking a gap year before jumping into college. Jenna is an only child raised by her single mom. Growing up, Jenna remembered being the brightest & smiliest kid. In middle school, Jenna started to deal with anxiety. It continued into high school and suddenly took a toll on her mental health and academic performance.
Being a teenager now is not easy. The effects of social media and feeling alone as you watch others lives through a screen. It cannot always be easy to understand what you're feeling or why you are feeling it.
Jenna is so strong and authentic and it helps to show how far hope can go.
Thank You so much Jenna for joining me today!! I was so excited to work with you and i had a blast. <3

Effie came into my life about three weeks ago. Effie is the mother to two children Ezzie, two years old and Ford, four years old. Effie iss the wife of her husband Casey. Settled down on Mercer Island, Life may seem easy on the outside, but Effie is a superwoman.
Effie's Son Ford, has a rare genetic disorder, CTNNB1. Ford spends his days in a wheelchair which we call hiss “wheelie”. A happy boy, constantly giving us a smile, showing us hiss tricks and usually playing with bubbles or a ball, his favorite thing EVER. He seriously does not get bored of it! Although Ford is a happy boy, doesn’t mean it's always easy on his parents. His parents both work around the clock, working for his happiness and health. Constant appointments, worries, therapy and all. They are superheros. Listen to the rest of the episode to hear more in depth about their life and journey with Ford.
You have a purpose, you are wanted, loved, and cared for. You are not fighting your battle alone. You got this! I hope you enjoyed the fourth episode. I'm so happy you're here! Remember to fight for you. All my love, Lily
