My next guest is Gary Fahey. He is a mind strength coach, highly sought-after speaker and bestselling author who embodies the mantra of “Lived it, Learned it, Earned it.” His unique Brutal Honesty brand was forged through 18 years with the Australian Federal Police, where he led the Australian Prime Minister’s Personal Protection Team and managed the Office of Commissioner.
While working as a Supervisor with the Federal Police, Gary began to think he could co-mingle his struggles with mental illness and gambling addiction. When these two collided , Gary lost his job as a Federal Police and was charged with misappropriation of funds.
Gary soon realized that gambling was not the problem, gambling was a symptom to his problem. But he was unsure WHY gambling create an escape. The escape helped Gary avoid the underline problem, his ego!
Today, Gary is coaching and mentoring other men through formal and informal education while leading and mentoring them to success.
San Tan Valley resident Misty Terrigino lost her 17-year-old daughter Kaylie to an accidental fentanyl overdose earlier this year. She’s now trying to put the pieces together in order to help others avoid the devastating experience of losing a loved one.
"It was just a normal night," she said. "I went upstairs and knocked on her door and there was no response and I just knew, I knew something was terribly wrong." Misty was right, as she entered the room she knew immediately that something was horribly wrong. After checking her vital signs, she called 911 and laid next to her until the police and EMS arrived.
Misty indicated that the night before the death, The two of them were happy, Kaylie was smiling and carrying on in conversation. Misty said, that her daughter did not go to parties and she was an honor roll student. There we no signs of depression or fear of overdose.
"Terrigino said that while her daughter's case is still under investigation, they know the pill that killed her was bought over the social media app Snapchat and delivered straight to their door. They’re still trying to catch the account user. She said the pill was believed to be Percocet but was instead laced with a lethal dose of fentanyl.
"It only takes one time, it only takes one pill," she said. "It's very cheap, it's accessible, people will deliver it to them. It's the perfect recipe for disaster, and that's exactly what happens". (foxnews.com)
My friends, fentanyl is real and it only takes once. "One Pill, One Life!"

My next guest has been in recovery for over thirty years. David Ludlow entered treatment at 123 pounds, broken and without a plan. He was given another 6 months to live if he refused to change his life. His life changed when he entered treatment.
While in treatment, he realized that sobriety only occurs when we become uncomfortable. Addiction is comfortable. Recovery, making amends, restructuring our lives is not comfortable.
David said, "If I am comfortable in recovery, I am in a bad place." Becoming rigorously authentic helped and helps David maintain his sobriety. David is engaged in the process of self- improvement not self-Sabotage, Self-Awareness not Self-destruction.
Take a few minutes to listen to David's journey and the tools he shares with the listeners that can help start the discussion with your loved ones.

This episode features Lena Cebula, an author of a spiritual autobiography called "Miraculous." After the taping of this podcast, Lena sent me a copy of the book and it is an amazing read. She shares with the readers her heart and how her spirituality saved her life.
Lena's story is powerful, at a young age she lived the perfect storm. She was being sexually assaulted under her parents roof with with her fathers consent. The trauma led her into a life of addiction and sex trafficking. Because of the trauma she was experiencing and her desire to flee from the difficult circumstances in the Ukraine, she became the perfect target for sex traffickers. Lena was groomed by a very beautiful and successful women and at a young age was taken from her hometown and was trafficked to two foreign countries.
She opens up about her life as an addict, the life of a sex slave and how she was introduced to Christ is the most unlikely of circumstances. This episode is full of Hope. Lena has lived and currently lives a "Miraculous" life. She is a mother a wife and believes in the redemption power of a loving God.
Lena's story needs to be shared, like and commented on. Today, she is a life coach, a blogger, a public speaker and helps women in need. She helps women who have been trafficked transition and heal from the experienced traumas.

I received two emails today from the Mesa Public Schools explaining that "beginning today, you (I) will receive a daily COVID-19 notification letter from your school or worksite with the number of student cases and the number of adult cases reported that day. You can continue to monitor our district COVID-19 dashboard at......."
Mesa Public Schools, how about starting today, you send out a daily fentanyl update notification letter from your office. Share with the public the number of youth affected by opioid/fentanyl overdoses. Share current trends, signs and symptoms of a fentanyl overdose. I wonder if the Mesa Public Schools "experts" are aware that there are way more teens dying in our community from fentanyl overdose than COVID!
Arizona Emergency Room doctors have been seeing a rise in opioid/fentanyl overdoses. Hospitals are being flooded by teens who are unaware of fentanyl infused drugs.
"Fentanyl is being cut into other drugs, meth, cocaine, and people are just overdosing left and right," said Dr. Arya Chowdhury, an independent contractor working in several emergency rooms throughout the Valley.
It is time to talk about it. Speak with your kids about it. Educate yourself with the symptoms of an opioid/fentanyl overdose.
If you need help with this conversation, please email me at [email protected] and I will help guide you in the conversation. Please like, share and comment on this podcast.
My next guest is none other than Ultra Marathon runner Henry Ward. Henry is a retired "alcoholic and blackout artist." He is the current Chairman and CEO at Running Without The Devil."
Most of Henry's life was fueled by the pursuit of alcohol. As a youngster, Henry experimented with alcohol and this was the "launching point" for his alcoholism to take off. He was raised in an alcoholic environment and witnessed his parents and their friends drink in excess. Henry was driven by the need to be intoxicated. Relationships, his employment, family and goals were never enough to keep him sober. Alcohol had a grip on him and he felt driven to change that.
Take a ride as Henry shares his road to redemption and recovery. He discusses the tools he used to find long term sobriety. At some point, we all have to "Run Without The Devil." We all have three choices in active addiction, 1. Get Sober, 2. Get Locked Up or 3. Get Covered Up. Unfortunately, getting sober is not always the easiest path.

The most dangerous drug no one wants to talk about. In 2021, over 100,000 brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers passed away from overdose. We have a pandemic on our hands and we are trying to place a band aide on a bullet hole.
Our Government has one eye open and one eye shut when it comes to the Fentanyl epidemic. Open borders, limited laws, statutes of limitations, lack of follow through, no charging standards and limited resources are all to blame for the rise of overdose. Yet our President has demonstrated his power by shutting down America over Covid!
So why are they not throwing monies at the Fentanyl epidemic? The answer is simple, it doesn't make them money! It's not sexy and it does not fit in their agenda. Overdose is the leading cause of death in American to those 18-45. The leading cause, not the second or the tenth. It is the leading cause of death.
This episode will dive into the history, the transportation methods, solutions and the problem with Fentanyl. Please share this episode with those who desire to learn more about this epidemic.
