We start by discussing the short lived rumors of Evgeni Malkin to the Wild and how even though that didn't pan out, Bill Guerin has put the team in a position to go after a big fish with potential cap trade chips on the table. We are joined by Ross Levitan of Locked on Senators to discuss the Cam Talbot trade, and we look at the deal from both sides. We look at the timeline that led to Talbot's departure and tell Senators fans what they are getting in Talbot. Ross tells us what Filip Gustavsson brings to Minnesota, we learn that his deal will require him to be at the NHL level or be put on waivers, so he will likely be Marc-Andre Fleury's backup this year. We also look at some names the Wild could target to bolster their bottom six if that is indeed the route they look to fill.
