February 21, 2022 Detective Conan (Case Closed)!
This week we watched Detective Conan, since its one of the longest running anime we decided to watch the filler episodes 29 and 1032, to get an idea of how the show changed with roughly 25 years between the episodes.
Shinichi Kudou, a high school student of astounding talent in detective work who had witness some disturbing illegal activity because of this he had an experimental drug forced upon him, leaving him for dead. However, to his own astonishment, Shinichi lives to see another day, but now in the body of a seven-year-old child.
Detective Conan started airing in 1996 and still does to this day. It is a property of TMS Entertainment a studio who is known for Dr. Stone, Fruit Baskets, Burning Kabaddi, and more.

BANKAI!! For this week's episode, we watched Bleach: Fade to Black! Movie 3 in the series.
The movie was aired in 2008 and was produced by Studio Pierrot known for many great properties such as Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, Black Clover, and many more.
Rukia Kuchiki is erased from everyone's memory which also includes Ichigo due to their connection. Ichigo tries to save his friend all while trying to not get caught by the other member of the Soul Society.

Bringing back a classic DBZ movie, we watched Lord Slug!
Taking place at some point before the Namek saga where the earth is invaded by Lord Slug , a super Namekian. We get a taste of super saiyan Goku before it became canon and we get Piccolo doing badass Piccolo things. A movie any DBZ fan would enjoy!

December 20, 2021 Arcane! (League of Legends)
This week's episode we reviewed Arcane, the Netflix animated series based in the League of Legends universe. The story revolves around the dichotomy between the cities of Piltover and Zaun and the people who inhabit them.
We can't recommend this show enough. While this is not anime it is BEAUTIFULLY animated , a new standard for combining 2D and 3D animation styles. No prior League of Legends experience required to enjoy it but also has many nods for fans of the game and universe.

For this week's episode, we watched Fairy Tail, episodes 70-72!
These episodes revolve around Natsu being captured and used as a power core for Dragonoid created by our antagonist Daphne. We did it, finally tricked Ken into watching an anime about a mech!
Fairy Tail is a Shounen anime based in a fantasy setting where magic and dragons rule all! The show began in 2009 and ended in 2013, these episodes were produced by A-1 Pictures before the studio change. A-1 is also known for other popular animes such as Magi, Sword Art Online, Seven Deadly Sins, and many more!
