The Legends of Vox Machina! We watched the first three episodes of the show. The series is based off the D&D 5e campaign run by the popular company/group, Critical Role. We discuss our thoughts on the animation, story, and the comparison between this show and the original source material.

Goes without saying there are spoilers for the episodes and also MASSIVE spoiler warning of where the story is going to go @39:35 , so listen past there at your own risk.  With that out of the way... is it Thursday yet?

This week's episode we reviewed Arcane, the Netflix animated series based in the League of Legends universe. The story revolves around the dichotomy between the cities of Piltover and Zaun and the people who inhabit them.

We can't recommend this show enough. While this is not anime it is BEAUTIFULLY animated , a new standard for combining 2D and 3D animation styles. No prior League of Legends experience required to enjoy it but also has many nods for fans of the game and universe.
