The nominations for podcast which contains some discussion about which games are nominated for Game of the Year at the Game Awards are: Filthy Casuals. And probably heaps of others, but us too! We talk about the noms for the big prize, Half-Life 2’s 20th anniversary, plus the recent Warcraft remasters, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remaster, The Rise of the Golden Idol, and more! We’d like to thank the podcast academy for this honour.

It’s been a big year for brothers reuniting after long absences, but the Oasis of video games is back with Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Tommy’s played it, Adam’s played a little Rise of the Golden Idol, Ben’s played a little Metal Slug Tactics, and we’ve all played a little “What’s In The News This Week?” The answer? Things like the launch of the PS5 Pro, Shigeru Miyamoto walking around a theme park by himself, Persona 5’s music being nominated for a Grammy, Ubisoft facing a potential lawsuit over The Crew’s shutdown, and even more. Have a listen, in my honest opinion!

Tear open your podcast booster pack, because I have a good feeling you’ve got a rare Tommy, a shiny Ben and a hollow Adam inside for this week’s expansion pack to the Filthy Casuals Trading Card Game. Perhaps you could trade them for a Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Chat card, a Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Review card, or a few different news cards like Playdate Season 2 and Halo 2 E3 Demo Release. Or you could just listen to this episode of Filthy Casuals and collect the whole set and more!

Increasingly more reliable than the changing of the seasons, migratory birds and hibernating mammals now use the release of a new Call of Duty game to track the Earth's orbit around the sun, and we're done with another loop this week with the release of Black Ops 6. We have a talk about that, detective story No Time to Die, city builder Citadelum, a brief chat about Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero as well as looking at a whole bunch of news. Congratulations on being one Call of Duty older everyone, here's to 50 more (six years worth).

Spooky season is here and for this Halloween Tommy, Ben and Adam are dressing up as three video game designers and creating the world's scariest game. Will it be creepy and kooky? You bet. Mysterious and spooky? Absolutely. Altogether ooky? Sure.

Fantasy Is Dead but Podcasting is very much alive this week as the boys hack into the news servers and chat about the Pokemon leaks, Nintendo’s brand spanking new device, Red Dead Redemption on PC and more. PLUS Metaphor ReFantazio is out so we’re unlocking the Reviewer Archetype and giving our first impressions of the first few hours of this massive (J?) RPG.

The test drive. The supermarket little free bite sized cube on a toothpick. The absorbing of blue liquid alongside a competing brand. Is there anything more tempting to the average shopper than the humble demonstration? This week, we put to the test whether Metphor: ReFantazio's pre-release demo has what it takes to wow the consumption-loving public, and while we're down at the shopping mall anyway we take a quick look at Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Plus news like the development of an Alien: Isolation sequel, Halo's latest course correct, David Hayter's potential Metal Gear return, and more!

Whip out your magic rods and reate yourself a pair of headphones and a phone, as it's time to listen to the latest episode of Filthy Casuals. This week we've played The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and wouldn't you know it Ben has dived into Helldivers 2. Plus there's news like a potential new Tony Hawk game, and a whole bunch more! Now if you'll please just use that magic rod to create a funny little ending to this podcast description, we'll be all set!

It's 50 podcasts in one this week! So long as you consider any minor conversation topic change to be the beginning of an entirely new podcast. And we hope you do, because in that case we have the world's greatest compilation of podcasts right here! Including a podcast about new indie retro omnibus UFO 50, a podcast about boss based action game Black Myth: Wukong, a podcast about the recent PlayStation State of Play, and podcasts about a lot of the reveals within that show including a podcast about Ghost of Yotei, and podcasts about much more!

Whip out your tiny paint pots, dip your fine brushes in some water and get ready to very quickly give up on painting these tiny things because oh my god it’s so fiddly why does mine look so much worse than every one of these pictures, wait buying more of these would cost how much? In a bold new move for the world of video games, a Warhammer 40,000 game has been released and Adam and Ben have played it! This week we review the picture-book adventure game The Plucky Squire, and talk about the recent dissolution of Annapurna Interactive, progress on The Sims movie, and of course all the latest news about contemporary crypto mascot Flappy Bird.
