I’m a new listener but ofer the last couple weeks I’ve listened to several of the episodes and it has been exactly what I needed. It’s all so relatable and helpful...

The earth has seasons, the moon has cycles, the day has rhythms of light and dark, warmth, and cold. As humans, we also live with cycles. Women have monthly cycles, we all live in seasonal cycles, and we have daily cycles as well. Each season of part of these cycles comes with natural places for rest, motivated work, and play. However, we often internalize the message that we constantly need to push through our need for rest or stillness and constantly achieve. This pushing can lead to burnout and frustration.

In this episode, we discuss the idea of leaning into cyclical living instead of fighting against it with Meridith Bienvenue. She explains how we can actually harness the power of the different cycles that we live with and learn to honor our need for both healing calm and empowering movement. It requires trusting ourselves, honoring our bodies and our minds, and flowing with life.

Loved the playful parenting episode. As a father, that is a subject I face all of the time. Learned a lot about how to approach it better and more effectively. I added many of the great suggestions in playing and interacting with my kids and it has been amazing.

Connection is at the center of so much of our lives and relationships. In this episode, Taralyn, Felica, and Katelin wrestle with the concept of how to maintain connection with others and live wholeheartedly, while still releasing what we cannot control and detaching from the outcome. Detachment is a popular word in some self-help philosophy, and it is a valuable concept because it allows us to not cling onto things we are unable to control. This podcast saved my motherhood!...They dive into incredible topics, they read and discuss books I’ve read or are on my to-read list… I just cannot say enough good things about this podcast and these women. When my daughter turned about 8 months I started to notice I was really struggling with all the challenges of motherhood. I was at a breaking point and felt like I couldn’t share my honest thoughts with anyone without the sting of their silent judgement. This podcast was a saving grace; not only have I learned some great tools and coping mechanisms, but I no longer feel like I am ALONE or I’m doing something wrong or I’m a terrible mother if I meet some hardships in parenting. I now realize it is completely normal and I am so much more patient with myself and my daughter. I look forward to listening to this on my way to work every day so much! I feel like I’m having an intelligent, productive conversation with some great people and reflecting on myself and growing after every podcast!
