The size of that baggage might just determine the pace at which you’re able to find peace for yourself along the way. That’s why we’re kicking off season seven of the podcast talking about forgiveness. You’ll be tempted to hold a grudge. You’ll be taunted by thoughts of vengeance. But the one thing that’s going to help you get to the other side of the emotional mountain of your divorce is going to be your ability to forgive. Understanding forgiveness is all about understanding control, your inability to control your former spouse, and your ultimate goal of overcoming resistance in favor of peace.
