Finlos Teaches is a show that explores practical classroom experiences, policy matters, the the teaching experience from educators in the field. 

Recent data indicates that teachers are exiting the profession at an alarming rate. Common reasons are burnout, lack of pay, lack of respect, and an expectation that what can be asked of teachers is limitless. In this episode I have a conversation with Jen DeRemer. She is a fifteen-year classroom teacher veteran, and recently made the difficult decision to leave the classroom. Her experience is like so many others as teachers reach their limits.
