  • E8 - Using Social Media to Make Human Connections w Phil Gerbyshak
Social media is now an every-day part of our lives, and some people use it in a very sleazy way. The equivalent of walking up to someone at a party and saying "you're pretty attractive, let's make a baby." We should be using social media to make actual human connections, educate and inspire ... not to inflame and make people feel icky.
We are joined by social media selling expert Phil Gerbyshak who explains how to develop actual human connections through social media, attract more of the people you want to work with, and unlock the potential of social media in your business and life.

  • Episode 7: Manifestations and the Law of Attraction with Victoria Gallagher
Some of you may be a little skeptical about the Law of Attraction. Think positive and everything good will come into your life if you just believe in the woo-woo, seems a little too good to be true. Many of us are taught to be logical, oh responsible, practical so we can be so dependable, oh clinical, intellectual, cynical and discount the power of manifestations and the Law of Attraction. Instead of being cynical about the woo-woo (which btw is now being supported by scientific research) why not give it a try and see if it works for you.
Victoria Gallagher shares her journey of starting as a skeptical stockbroker to her transition to becoming a hypnotherapist and expert in the Law of Attraction. She explains how to make the Law of Attraction practical by listening to those little intuitions and practicing alignment to unlock your potential.

  • Episode 6: The Masks We Wear
Many people wear masks to show the world one thing, when on the inside they may feel much different. When it comes down to it, most people have insecurities and are afraid to let others know their "real" self. This can lead to negative feelings of unworthiness, being fake, or that we are never good enough.
In order to build authentic and deep relationships with people we have to remove our masks, embrace our weirdness and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. Some people may not like the "real you," but that's OK. Those who do will L-O-V-E you.
If you feel like you are wearing a mask you shouldn't be wearing, have the courage to take it off and be authentically you. Embrace your weirdness and "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken" - Oscar Wilde.

  • Episode 4: Stress - Are You Running from Bears or Chipmunks?
Stress is a threat ... real or imagined. It's a perception that demands will exceed our resources that causes stress, anxiety, and freaks us out. Usually the perceived threat doesn't require a major chemical and biological response ... like we need when running from a bear. Running from stress to stress during the day feels like we ran away from 20 angry bears without a break. No wonder we find ourselves stressed and exhausted at the end of the day.
Stop trying to change and control things we can't control. Instead focus on controlling your thoughts and response, after you perceive clearly what is really going on. In the present moment there is no stress. So pause, get present and you will find that what you thought was a bear is really a cute chipmunk and the stress just melts away.
