On this episode, we welcome our special guest Yolanda Hamilton, CEO of the Winning Circle Brand, to the Firepit. She shares her personal adoption story, the loss of her adopted family, and her AncestryDNA test experience. Through DNA testing, Yolanda connected with a half sister, was able to identify her biological father (a well known figure in the community), and a cousin who would help bridge some gaps. As Yolanda strives to continue building relationships with those open to it, there are always some who are hesitant and reluctant to connect.
