Every book ever written has had a final chapter. Every book comes to an end. So it is with the book of this world.

And . . . that end will not be pleasant. It will be CHAOS WRIT LARGE!

This sermon brings our sermons series, "Back to the School of Faith" to an end with a study of the "End Times."

While many people, increasingly more each day, reject any formal religious affiliation, people are innately spiritual. As far back as we have written records, history records various beliefs about angels or the spirit world.

Egyptians constructed elaborate death chambers in anticipation of visitors from the "Other World." Islam teaches in the Koran there are two angels assigned to every person: one to record bad deeds, and one to record good deeds.

This week in our continuing study of Christian doctrine we will investigate the doctrine of angels.

Pain is a result of sin and one day all believers in Jesus will be completely free from the presence of sin and completely free from any pain. That is because of the incredible and undeserved gift of salvation. In this sermon Pastor Jack explores this concept and provides hope for those that have not yet received this free gift.

God wants to get our attention. God wants us to walk in the victory the Holy Spirit provides. God wants us to be "world-changers." The Holy Spirit alone empowers us to live a victorious Christian life.

We need to know Him, and to understand how He works in the life of believers. That was the task that Pastor Jack dealt with in this lesson.

Most Christians have no issue with the doctrine of man's depravity. You don't have to be a theologian to recognize that man (as in mankind) can reach abysmal depths of dark thought and behavior.

The problem seems to lie with the adjective, "total." Just how depraved are the good folk, for example, that regularly sit in church pews, come to a complete stop at stop signs, and pay their full taxes? You know, people like you and I. Are we really "totally depraved" without Christ.

Throughout this message Pastor Jack wades into these deep waters. Life vests may be required for those not accustomed to swimming in the deep end of the pool.

The Death of Jesus Christ eliminates the power of death over those that receive Him as the Lord of Life. He becomes our Savior. By His death, death is defeated.

This is a marvelous thing. The Death of Jesus (consummated by His resurrection) changes everything for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28).

In this message we go Back to the School of Faith and examine the doctrine of the Death of Jesus Christ.

We fight a lot of enemies in life, but usually miss the one most deadly. Pride has been called, "The Father of All Sins," for good reason.

In this message Pastor Jack examines this deadly enemy a bit closer and provides a way to fight against it.
