It has been said, “The clothes don’t make a man,” but that’s really not true in real life, as Extravagant Fashionistas like, Mouna Ayoub, and all the hub-bub of red carpet events in Hollywood attest. In fact, even the Bible speaks of how “clothes do make a man or woman,” that is, make them sons or daughters of God. In this message Pastor Jack looks at this fascinating idea in detail.

We've all heard the phrase, "Cutting Out the Middle Man." In business, this refers to moving a purchase one step closer to the source. The consumer deals directly with the manufacturer.

"Cutting Out the Middle Man" also applies to one's Spiritual Walk. "Religion" is a "Middle Man." Religion is based upon the Law, and teaches man that he can justify himself before God by following rules and performing rituals. In this message, Pastor Jack provides and in-depth explanation of this concept as described in Galatians.

Christians are never encouraged in the Scriptures to "suspend our intellect," but to engage the writings of Scripture with a devout inquisitiveness, using all the faculties that God has given us, including both our heart and mind. Faith is more than reason, but it is never unreasonable. As the great mathematician and philosopher, Blaise Pascal, said, "Faith has its reasons that reason knows not of."

How were the Old Testament saints saved if Jesus Christ had not yet died? Are there two paths to salvation? They could not have faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross because Jesus hadn't yet died on the cross. Was Abraham saved by "good works" he had done? I knew also that this could not be the answer according to Romans 3:20 and other verses.

Paul teaches throughout the Book of Galatians that a person is "justified"--that is, made righteous in the eyes of God--by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

This week we will look at how Abraham is an example of the doctrine of justification--salvation by grace through faith.

The only life worth living is a supernatural life. Animals enjoy a natural life, but God gives us the gift of experiencing something more.

There is too much "fake news" coming out of churches today in the form of "hypocrisy"--saying one thing and doing another. Even the great Apostle Peter had to be corrected by the Apostle Paul for hypocritical behavior.

One of the most frequent condemnations of the church by those outside of it is, "they are filled with hypocrites!" My answer to that is simply, "come on in, we have room for one more."

We all need to be reminded that salvation also includes sanctification--we "do" what we "believe." None of us is perfect and this concept is explored throughout this message.

Freedom is worth fighting for. This week we will see how Paul took the fight to those who opposed the freedom God gives through grace.

There is so much science can tell us, and do for us. Science can tell us "how the heavens go, but cannot tell us how to go to heaven," the far weightier matter.

Paul once again, twice in one chapter, emphasizes the supernatural nature of the gospel of grace through Jesus Christ.

Humans are like transistor radios. The switch determines what “life signals” we receive. AM stands for “Adam Man.” When Adam disobeyed God and ate the apple in the garden, he brought the nature of sin to every child that will ever be born. When we are in the AM mode, we only receive signals of sin through our flesh. When we switch to FM, that stands for “Forgiven Man.” In the FM mode we receive our signals not through our flesh, but through our Spirit. “Spirit Walkers” are tuned into God through the Holy Spirit.

Sadly, not all Christians have an abiding love for God. Oh, they may be saved and will go to heaven when they die, but they don't demonstrate the kind of love for God that makes a martyr (witness).

Most Christians are Wilderness Wanderers. During the first Sunday of the year Pastor Jack addresses what it takes to possess the Promised Land. It is already claimed by "promise," but he instructs on how to claim it by "practice."
