The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania has celebrated the Human Rights Day in Langa in Cape Town today, where an anti-pass law march also took place in 1960. German software company SAP appears to have had more information about commission agreements with companies linked to the Gupta family than previously revealed. Exclusive emails and documents obtained by SABC News indicate its global compliance team signed off on deals, despite having been warned about the possibility of the Gupta family acting in the background. Three of its executives in South Africa, were suspended and later resigned over the scandal, but the company hasn't indicated disciplinary action against its employees elsewhere. Robotic surgery for prostate cancer is increasingly preserving erectile function and urinary control compared to conventional procedures. This is according to one of South Africa's top urologists Dr Lance Coetzee, from The Urology Hospital,in Pretoria. The hospital is the first in the country to acquire a robotic surgical system in 2013 and has improved a host of side effects related to prostate cancer surgery. Tiger Brand's Chief Financial Officer, Noel Doyle has confirmed the closure of its Pretoria factory, where traces of the listeria bacteria has been discovered. Earlier this month, Health minister Aaron Motsoaledi, announced that the source of listeriosis had been detected at an Enterprise factory in Polokwane and Germiston, as well as some Rainbow chicken products. Doyle says all of their cold and processed meat have been recalled

Spokeperson for the Life Esidimeni Victims' Families, Christine Nxumalo says they welcome the decision by retired Deputy Chief Justice, Dikgang Moseneke, ordering the government to pay the victims of the Life Esidimeni one-point-two-million rand in total for a variety of violations, including constitutional damages. Christine Nxumalo says the families are happy with the outcome of the Inquiry into the scandal involving the deaths of 144 people at psychiatric facilities in the Gauteng province. Media24 has agreed to pay close to 14-million rands after admitting involvement in price fixing. It is among 28 companies referred to the Competition Tribunal for prosecution. The fine is for offering discounts and payment terms to advertising agencies. Recently Independent Newspapers, Caxton and Dstv paid millions in settlement for the same transgressions.
