Former real estate agent Vicki Momberg was today sentenced to an effective two years in prison by the Randburg Magistrate's Court for her racist comments in 2016. She was found guilty on four counts of crimen injuria in connection with her rant, which she lashed out at a black police officer who had helped her after an alleged smash-and-grab incident in Northriding, Johannesburg. She is currently trending on social media today with many twitter users celebrating her sentence. The Eastern Cape department of Education says the issue of HIV testing is not outside the mandate of NGO Keth'Impilo. This follows shocking reports that HIV tests were conducted without any consent from the parents.
