In this episode with Nadia (@nozkeane) we talk about her move to the UK 10 years ago and how her life has changed as a result. She found the gym, grew mental strength and resilience, underwent therapy to address issues she was both aware and not aware of. We also discuss how following her heart has ultimately led to her to being in the happiest and healthiest place in her life thus far.
In this episode I talk to Ally about his views on mental health, well-being and understanding himself and the ways he thinks. I found this conversation so interesting; Ally and I have very different experiences and opinions, so this was such an eye opening conversation, and I hope you think so too!
In this episode I talk to Tom - best known as TMCYCLES - about his journey with mental health. We chat about the things he does that keeps his head in check, and how this side of him will be enhanced moving away from bodybuilding as he establishes his new business venture: FLOW.
Episode Two of Mindset Mondays is here!
Hey guys!
Welcome to the new 'series' of the podcast: mindset mondays.
I want to start each week addressing a topic that is going to help us better our lives in the following days. Maybe it's something that helps us to realise what we need to do, be or achieve; maybe it is going to help us to stop self-sabotaging or stop us panicking about upcoming events. If you've got a topic that you would like to be discussed, please let me know.
Lots of love,
H x
Wow, this was a big one for me guys and girls. It look a lot for my mum to open up about this as it's something that she - understandably - finds very difficult to talk and think about, let alone share.
So, I'd like to thank my wonderful mum for not only giving me the time on this podcast, but for everything she has done (and still does) for me in life more generally.
In this episode I speak to the lovely @__georgiefit about her decision to move from a lifestyle approach to being a competitive bodybuilder and what she's learned along the way. We talk over her decision to move coach, how the approaches differ and what she has sacrificed to get where she is today.
In this episode we talk all things HA recovery as the lovely Lauren Wall delves into her journey competing, and how it's impacted her menstrual cycle. She is now taking the brave steps of getting it back, and she discusses some of the symptoms she has now in comparison to the symptoms she was displaying previously. This is a really authentic anecdotal insight to HA, and if you've been waiting for a sign to get your cycle back: this is it.
Happy Friday guys! Today's episode is with the lovely Brandon Hepburn; we talk about his early life, moving to London (and how that changed him as a person), his decision to move abroad and how that has impacted him. It's an episode that's full of loads of interesting bits and pieces. So, listen up and let us know your thoughts.
In this episode Ally and I discuss all things prep: the impacts on his coaching, relationships and life. We also touch on how he got into bodybuilding, his decision not to compete and when he decided to go assisted.
