Occurred recently, thanks to my wife, Shelly, calling me out on not paying enough attention to her and our marriage.

Before we decide to take control of our quality of life? I'm reminded of that every time I speak to my Dad, who's health - and subsequently quality of life - has declined dramatically since suffering a major stroke nearly 6 years ago.

Which, after our Father's Day conversation on Sunday, prompted me to get on the mic and talk off the cuff and from the heart.

Because if I had faced the path to entrepreneurship and opening a business alone, I would have ran the other day.

I owe so much to my family by blood and family of choice, starting with my wife, Shelly. I wouldn't be where I am without them. So I plan to celebrate with them when I officially become a published author on Wednesday, May 3 - the day the book collaboration, "Real Talk With Real Fit Pros," launches.

For now, I simply say 'Thank You' on this edition of the show.
