As we wind down 2020 one can't help but take a moment and reflect on all of the lessons that 2020 taught us. Grab your cup of coffee and join me today as I discuss the 7 lessons 2020 has taught me about fitness and life.
Use these 5 tips to set yourself up to have your best year ever!
1. Get out of your normal environment when planning for next year
2. Define your goals and what success looks like
3. Figure out what you need to start doing, stop doing, and continue doing next year
4. Reverse engineer your year
5. Take action
The best way to start 2021 off on the right foot is to finish out 2020 strong. As challenging of a year as it has been, we ultimately control our own destiny and in order to make 2021 a really solid year we must take ownership of it, create a plan, and put that plan into action.
2020 has been crappy to say the least. But I truly believe there are still a few bright spots that you can be grateful for. During a time when we want to express gratitude I want to give you 8 tips to expressing gratitude!

Too often people wait until they are motivated to take action. Guess what? Motivation is garbage. You will never be motivated to eat healthier or to workout. Instead focus on taking action and building momentum towards your goal. Once you string together small victories you will build the motivation needed to keep going.

It's not selfish to make your health a priority.
Too be honest, its the best thing you can do for yourself and for those who count on you.
Too often we place the needs of others before ours and our health and fitness ends up suffering because of it.
Give a damn about your health.
It is the best investment you’ll ever make. You get one life. Live it. Enjoy it. And take care of your body.
Adopted from the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
The Four Agreements are:
1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
2. Don't Take Anything Personally
3. Don't Make Assumptions
4. Always Do Your Best
In this episode we will discuss how you can implement the Four Agreements into your life so you can finally be successful on your fitness journey.
We have been programmed to think that the best way to lose body fat is through cardio. That couldn't be farther from the truth. In this episode we explore why strength training is a better option for you when it comes to fat loss than cardio.
