Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with mani-pedis and bubble baths but when it comes to self-care, I think we can go a little deeper.
This week on Fix Your Relationships, you're getting a 2-part episode, and I'm going in on one of my favorite topics: Self-Care. And not just self-care, but what it means to be "intentional" about your self-care practice. If your current self-care routine needs a makeover and you're ready to get serious about improving your overall health and well-being then these next two episodes are exactly what you need.

Are you constantly worried your partner is mad at you? Do you overthink every interaction, wondering if you did or said something wrong? Are stuck in a loop of people pleasing, while disregarding your own boundaries? Friend, you may be experiencing something called "Rejection Sensitivity."
While you may not have heard of this term before, Rejection Sensitivity isn't new. Many folks struggle with feelings of intense emotion, being called overly-sensitivity, and/or fearing that they'll be pushed away or rejected if everything is perfect. The truth is, once you understand what Rejection Sensitivity is and how it shows up for you, you'll be better able to combat it in your relationships.
In this episode of Fix Your Relationships, I'm sharing the 1 simple question that you can ask yourself to fight Rejection Sensitivity head-on. Once you know this, you'll be able to address negative emotions with confidence and embrace the needs of your relationships from a place of certainty, not overwhelm.

Do you struggle to ask for help? Are you stressed out from taking on too many responsibilities? Has your body started to let you know that it won't be putting up with your 💩 too much longer?
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone. I, too, have been guilty of doing too much. It's not uncommon for super-independent baddies like us, to take on the world and think about our own needs later. But what happens when our bodies start to break down in rebellion?
On today's episode, I share my story of learning I had an auto-immune disorder and why now, listening to my body is non-negotiable. I hope that you'll listen with an open heart and mind and share this episode with anyone in your life who's doing way too much.

Some of y'all are really trying it???
Imagine . . . hearing one of your homegirls complain about not having the time or the money to do something that would elevate her (scholastically, financially, health-wise) and solve a few of her more pressing challenges.
Now imagine . . . that this same friend, just dropped a huge chunk of change to see her favorite artist in concert. While there is no judgement here, I am giving my girl the side-eye.
In today's episode, I wanted to call out those of us who are happy to pour our money, our time and talent into others but not offering ourselves the same attention. It's time to let go of the excuses and stop putting things off. If you can invest in others, you can (and should) invest in yourselves as well.

You are brilliant at your career, devoted in your faith, and deeply intentional about your life.
So why does your love life keep falling short?
Hey babes. I'm Dr. Tiff — licensed psychotherapist, relationship transformation coach, wife, momma, and lover of God, wine, and minding my business. I have spent the past 20+ years helping highly driven women find the love and the life they desire and deserve.
Fix Your Relationships with Dr. Tiff is where faith meets work — and real transformation begins. Each week, I help you identify the patterns keeping you stuck in the same cycles — the people-pleasing, the over-functioning, the red flags you explain away, the self-sabotage you can't seem to shake — and give you the tools to actually break them.
After 20+ years of working with highly driven women, the same truth keeps showing up: the woman who is crushing it everywhere else in her life is often the same woman who is hustling the hardest for the bare minimum in love. And no amount of strategy, effort, or over-giving is going to fix that.
The fix starts from the inside. And it starts with you becoming the woman who no longer settles — not because you lowered your standards, but because you finally understood that God designed you for more.
Rooted in the truth of Psalm 139:14 — that you are fearfully and wonderfully made — this podcast will walk you through the self-work you've been putting off so you can call in the love you actually deserve.
Each week we cover: Relationship patterns · Emotional boundaries · Healing from toxic relationships · Self-worth and identity · Over-functioning and people-pleasing · Faith and relationships · Breaking generational cycles · Attachment styles · Becoming emotionally available
This podcast is for you if you are: ✦ A highly driven, faith-grounded woman who keeps attracting emotionally unavailable partners ✦ Tired of over-giving and getting the bare minimum in return ✦ Ready to stop ignoring red flags and start requiring more ✦ Done with people-pleasing and finally ready to put yourself first ✦ A woman who wants love — real love — and is willing to do the inner work to get there
It's time to stop looking for the one — and Become The ONE that everyone is looking for. Because, everything changes, when you do.
