In this chapter, our dear old Bilbo finds himself a little more than lost and alone. Trudging on ever deeper down, down, down the mountain without much light to guide him, and no-one -not even goblins- to give chase, he appears to be well and truly low in spirit, and hope. Who then, should he meet in such a deep dark, dank, and slimy place other than that horrid, pitiable thing known as Gollum. There are riddles, and precioussss treasures in the deep parts of the mountain, long forgotten by the goblins. Just what...what is in Bilbo's pocket?
