Dave is also the founder of AmICalled.com and chairs the board for the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). Our goal is to demonstrate the inconsistency at play and pastoral failures of this kind of thinking. Pastor Andy Stanley recently preached a sermon, where he stated that his congregation needed to unhitched the OT from the NT. This is Marcionism, and is more prevalent in the church than we realize. It is important to note that he dialed back his comments later–here. But this was not the worst of it. He also claimed that the apostles did not get their standard for sexual ethics from the OT.

The topic of education pops-up regularly on our show. This is because education is discipleship, and we have discipled a generation that produced Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as our presidential choices in 2016. Our education system is politically, socially, and economically broken, and yet we continue to hand our children over to be educated by this system. We need to stop doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
