Welcome on board Flight 131 of the Squawk Ident Podcast - The Reluctant Pilot

On today’s flight, I have the honor of being joined in the mobile studios by an aviator who’s journey began the Pacific Northwest when his older brother dared him to take a Demo Flight after a heated discussion that people with glasses can’t fly airplanes. From student pilot, airport lineman, gold seal flight instructor, to airline pilot, his experiences has lead him to piloting Bandeirantes, Jetstreams, Brasilias, Md-80’s, B737s, and currently the A320 family of aircraft. 

He is a storyteller, a model aircraft collector, and a professional money waister with his performance car and motorcycle hobbies. Prone to collecting nearly anything, if left unsupervised. He shares his journey in aviation with us. Captain Dave Buchmiller joins me on the podcast today.
