There are several days of the year that are very special to me. My birthday, my wife's birthday, Christmas, and Free Comic Book Day to name a few. The other big days are when Marvel Studios films come out. These days make me so happy, as I get to see yet another very well made, very entertaining, never bad (even the worst ones aren't bad) film that ties into my burning love of a shared Universe. Dr Strange is latest such offering, a film given the herculean task of introducing the concept of magic to a world that has been staunchly avoiding anything un-scientific since its inception. Did it work? Is Tilda Swinton's casting separate from Hollywood whitewashing because her ethnicity is technically 'hyperpale'? Must there be some hilarious raw footage from this film of people doing ridiculous things with their hands before the CG was added? I'll answer the last one right now: Yes. If you've seen the film, delve in to hear our thoughts, but if you haven't, still dive in! In an unprecedented move for Flix, I present to you a 10 minute spoiler-free review, that you can listen to if you're still on the fence about whether to see it. And it won't just be fanboy spooging from me, because my wife is a very level-headed individual when it comes to movies, and wouldn't recommend it if she didn't like it. Listen! Love! Share!
