🐞What is 'ADHD + ASD SOUNDS'? Perfect for individuals with ASD and/or ADHD, we offer a diverse library of natural and man-made sounds, (with and without music) to ensure a sensory-friendly experience for our listeners who may be experiencing overwhelm, poor concentration, distraction, frustration or sensory over-stimulation. Our sounds also help neurodivergent people focus on study or work and fall asleep at bedtime.
The recordings are designed to help relax and regulate the listener. Not all recordings will have this effect on every listener, because sounds are subjective. What works for one, may not work for another.
👩🦰Who am I? I am a counsellor and musician with AuDHD who has found that certain sounds have helped me: soothe my heightened emotions when agitated, upset or overloaded, stay regulated at work, and fall asleep much more easily every night. I have made these episodes to help others achieve the same. All episodes are produced by me.. Clare Llewellyn-Bailey, Counselling Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Coach (BA Hons) MBACP Acc. DHP. Please note, I am not a neuroscientist or a medical professional.
🤓Disclaimer / Warning Please consult your GP before listening to this recording. This recording may cause ringing in the ears. If so, do not continue to listen to the recording. DO NOT drive, operate heavy machinery, or use this video when it is not safe for you to become drowsy and/or fall asleep. All videos are for entertainment or psycho-educational purposes only. 🎧 Inside this Flooba episode...
A strong, steady 91 BPM trance-like pulse and looping minor-key music blend with deep brown noise to create an immersive, continuous soundscape. Rhythmic, moody and deliberately repetitive, with a consistent beat running right through it.
🧠 This might suit your brain if...
...your attention likes rhythm, repetition and a bit of intensity, or you find a stronger beat gives a restless brain something satisfying to follow. You might reach for it when you want to build momentum, become absorbed in a task, mask competing sounds, find your flow, or simply let your brain ride the loop. Focus, stimulation, regulation, getting-stuff-done mode, or just because the pulse hits the spot. Your brain gets to decide.

Beta-range binaural beats (12–30 Hz) blend with soft ambient music and gentle bubbling water sounds. A subtle musical atmosphere sits alongside the little watery burbles, creating a layered soundscape with both tonal, light fizz and liquid textures. Headphones are needed to hear the binaural effect.
🧠 This might suit your brain if...
...you’re drawn to soft musical layers, small bubbling sounds or the contrast between smooth tones and little watery details. Perhaps your attention follows the bubbles, settles into the music, or wanders between the two. There’s no required way to experience it.
👂🏻 A Few Things Your Ears Should Know: Contains subtle pulsating 'beats'.
📚 What are Binaural Beats? Two different frequencies are sent separately to each ear (e.g., 400 Hz left, 410 Hz right). The brain's superior olivary complex creates a third, illusory beat (10 Hz) inside your head. Requires headphones. For more comprehensive guidance, you can review Verywell Mind's guide on binaural beats: https://www.verywellmind.com/your-brain-and-binaural-beats-8681079 or Sleep Foundation's article on sound and brainwaves: https://www.sleepfoundation.org/noise-and-sleep/binaural-beats

A simple, continuous heartbeat pulsing steadily at 60 BPM, exactly one beat every second. No music, complicated layers or sudden changes, just one slow, repetitive biological rhythm ticking gently along.
🧠 This might suit your brain if...
...there’s something about a slow, steady rhythm that feels good to follow. Perhaps your attention enjoys having one simple pattern to come back to, or maybe you just like the familiar sound of a heartbeat nearby. You might listen while focusing, resting, settling or doing absolutely nothing at all. Notice what feels right for you, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
👩🦳 Counsellor-y Bit! Rhythm can give us something interesting to notice in ourselves. Rather than assuming a slow heartbeat is inherently calming, try noticing your own response. Does your breathing change? Do your shoulders soften? Does your mind settle, focus on the beat, or find it irritating? From a person-centred perspective, your response is the useful bit. The same repetitive rhythm that feels grounding to one person may feel uncomfortable to another.

Deep brown noise provides a continuous, low-frequency rumble, while unpredictable gusts of wind sweep in around it. Sometimes subtle, sometimes stronger, the wind shifts in intensity against the steady bass-heavy foundation, giving the soundscape a mix of consistency and movement.
