This episode is with designer, printmaker, and musician- Heather Moulder. We talk about creative process, the longevity of persistence in making art and living creatively, as well as, what Flow means to Heather.
This episode was really fun! You'll learn how Heather and I met back in 2005 and about what it's like to be a designer of a US Postal Stamp.
You can find Heather's work at LordyMercy.com
You can also find this episode on my YouTube channel with visuals of her work, including the Bluegrass USPS Stamp, released in 2024.
This episode is a special one with my guest, Candace Moran. She is an illustrator and designer with a focus on biology, illustration, and the ways in which art can move people to action. (She calls this "artivism.")
In this long format podcast we discuss her work, her challenges in balancing life, flow, and her creative practice.
You can watch the video for this episode which include beautiful visuals of her illustrations here: https://youtu.be/_BgI0-OS8wU

This episode is about finding gratitude among contrast and as a byproduct of the "struggle" phase of the Flow cycle. (It's also about finding perspective among chaos.)

This episode is about the overwhelm that can happen with lots of stimuli and finding interests among the novelty and variety of life. It's also about getting clear about what is "essential" to you, your creative practice and your life. This is part of "essentialism" for me. I'm not a minimalist, but I do find when I clarify the essentials to any process, goal, or season of life, things FLOW much more easily.

In future episodes I will be interviewing creative and interesting people about Flow and we will dive into what flow means to each of them.
Thanks for listening! -Anna
This episode is about "Conditions for Flow", which is my phrase for Flow Triggers and how we relate time and progress in the context of our life. I talk about needing feedback over time, in order to feel or experience progress.
