Ar: كان الوقت ظهراً والشمس شديدة الحرارة فوق مخيم المستشفى الميداني.
En: It was noon, and the sun was scorching hot above the field hospital camp.
Ar: خيام بيضاء مصفوفة على صفوف، تحت ظل محدود.
En: White tents were lined up in rows, under limited shade.
Ar: كانت ليلى تمشي بسرعة وسط المرضى، وجهها يشع بالأمل والحزم.
En: Layla walked briskly among the patients, her face radiating hope and determination.
Ar: كانت تعمل كممرضة منذ سنوات عديدة، لكن اليوم مختلف.
En: She had been working as a nurse for many years, but today was different.
