Rob recently called Marcus Kruk to discuss his company advertising on Waypoint TV Podcasts. Marcus’s story about his product was fascinating. They began to discuss gulf shore fishing. Rob met Shane Gullisken on the Salmon River of New York in 2013. They randomly bumped into each other on the Salmon River around Christmas 2021. After a few minutes of catching up Shane stated he worked out west and was paid to snorkele with salmon and steelhead. Shane is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill.

Rob recounts a recent day trip to a limestone quarry full of smallmouth bass. The location of the quarry will remain a secret. Don't bother asking. Rob considers this one of his greatest days of fly fishing while crossing off still water smallies from his bucket list. In this episode you will hear about the pristine and brilliant blue water with caves cut into a cliff. The water was full of fish and submerged pine trees. Every tree was surrounded by smallmouth bass. The bass were more than eager to eat Rob's favorite top water bass fly.

Rob wanted to find out what happens when a globetrotting fly angler is grounded during a pandemic.
