Focus or Die - The Mike Walsh Show

Everybody gets wrapped up in the weeds. It's human. The magic happens when we can go back and forth between the wide angle (big perspective) and narrow-angle (deep focus).

You're doing better than you think you are. Just look at how far you've come.

If you have two choices and one is more difficult, take the more difficult option. It’ll pay off more later.

Taking any easy road is trading happiness down the road for minimal happiness now. Don’t get into that habit! Try one month of taking the hard road. Fill up your plate with THREE projects and live them. For a month.

Do the hard stuff.

Here’s how to make progress. Even in the dark times.

Want to be good at something? Practice. Want to be great? Get a coach. Let me know if you do. I want to hear about it!

Chances are someone has done what you’ve done. Emulate their path.

Don’t forget, happiness and pleasure are two different things! Be present. Do one thing at a time.

Nobody can put you in the dark when you make your own light. Stay bright. Stay positive. You never know who you’re influencing.

We are all sponges. Guard your mind and your path to success by being deliberate about what goes into your head on a daily basis.

Be deliberate about how intensely you pursue your dreams and ambitions. People who take little breaks generally make better decisions. Take one week at 50 percent per month. Take one month 50 percent off per year.

You’ll be better for it, and stronger. This applies to business, living, fitness, strength, and relationships.
