On June 13, Fidelity Investments Canada hosted FOCUS2023 Toronto, a daylong live event for advisors, featuring insightful insights from Fidelity’s portfolio managers and experts. Today’s podcast features portfolio manager Patrice Quirion’s session from the event, sitting down with host Glen Davidson, VP Regional Sales, Ontario. For Canadian investors, Patrice manages Fidelity Global Concentrated Equity Fund and Fidelity International Concentrated Equity Fund. Both funds are concentrated in nature, typically with under 60 holdings. Both funds are focused on quality companies that Patrice believes are reasonably priced and that have the potential to exhibit predictable and durable earnings growth. As we’ll hear today from Patrice, one main difference in the funds is International Concentrated Equity excludes North American holdings.
