Crazy to think we have to come up with a plan just to survive holidays that so many people love so dearly. But the truth is some of us do. Not everyone has a large family or even any family to celebrate the holidays with. Some people are expected to celebrate the holidays with people who make their skin crawl or have hurt them in some way.

Father, Dad, Daddy, and Baby Daddy can all be triggering words to a woman who is single and pregnant or even a woman who is raising a child by themself. Every time those words are mentioned it can be a reminder of being alone, a reminder of feeling such as loneliness, scared, resentment, feelings of abandonment. So could not take it! I had to take back some power and find a way to stop being triggered but such common phrases.

In this episode, you will hear a different perspective on "baby daddy" and how I used that term to provide some empowerment in my life as I raise my son as a single mother.
