A special day today. The birthday of Aline Gremillion Fitzmorris, the woman who taught Tom to love food. She would be 109. In her honor, we talked about Cajun food, including a report on the new restaurant Etouffee in Covington, whose proprietors hail from Cut Off. And Sal Sunseri from P & J Oysters called in to answer a question about where oyster babies come from.

A really fun show today. Lots of callers talking boiled peanuts, Cornish hens, peanuts and coke (yes, together), and barbecue,
