It was Thursday and that means Nicole Dorignac the Grocery Goddess called in to report from the store about all things COVID-related. And it was a three- way Thanksgiving review with the Connell sisters and Nicole.

Stan Meadows passed on calling today with a cold, but we managed to have a lively show anyway.

It was a post- Thanksgiving Day wrap-up. We did a recap of our own festivities at the Cool Water Ranch and heard from callers about theirs, including Ron and his globally-injected turkey, and Don and his four-day brine.

Stan Meadows called in from his "resort" in Las Vegas to give us the latest installment of his gangster hangout research. He talked about cooking Thanksgiving for his neighbors in the "resort." 

WE talked about the Po-Boy Festival, getting a new roof on the house in 2012, and the restaurant in the Bywater known as the Country Club.

We had a visit from Jim Richard and Matt Farmer, the team at Trenasse, one of our favorite restaurants in town. And we talked more Thanksgiving stuff, and Ron the Gourmet everything called to check in, back from a few weeks in Mexico.

We had a special Thanksgiving Edition of the Grocery Goddess Nicole Dorignac and a special Thanksgiving edition of the Mom's Throwdown. It was Sylvia's birthday, but Henry showed no special partiality in awarding the Throwdown prize.
