In the first segment, with spring practice in high gear, Inside Carolina's Jason Staples and host Tommy Ashley break down five key takeaways from the past two weeks as Mack Brown 2.0 enters its sixth year for the North Carolina program. OL, DL, QB, DB and the overall energy level around practice are all topics of conversation in this special edition.


In the second half of the show, Jason and Tommy are on location at North Carolina's Pro Day on Thursday, March 28th their takeaways from the day of drills. With all 32 NFL teams represented and numerous others in attendance, the big three Tar Heels - Drake Maye, Devontez Walker and Cedric Gray - were joined by teammates and former Heels in an effort to move up on draft boards and impress scouts and one day earn a coveted NFL roster spot.

Coast to Coast: RJ Davis Returning to UNC for Fifth Season

With a series win and a firm ACC Coastal division lead in hand, North Carolina Diamond Heel head coach Scott Forbes joins Inside Carolina's This Week in UNC Baseball with hosts Tommy Ashley and Grace Nugent. The Heels picked up two of three wins against the Virginia Tech Hokies over the weekend with pitching dominating the three games and timely hitting carrying Carolina to wins Friday and Saturday. Forbes discusses the solid week from his starters in those wins and goes into detail on how the process of bullpen choices are made over the course of the midweek and weekend games. The show wraps with a lighter discussion quick hitters on the who wins a base running race, uniforms and what goes through the mind of a third base coach in action.
