Hillary Morgan Ferrer is the founder and Mama-Bear-in-Chief of Mama Bear Apologetics. She feels a burden for providing accessible apologetics resources for busy moms. Hillary is the co-author and general editor of Mama Bear Apologetics: Empowering Your Kids to Challenge Cultural Lies (Harvest House, 2019). Hillary has her master’s degree in biology from Clemson University and is working on a master’s degree in apologetics from Biola University. She loves helping moms to discern both truths and lies in science and culture, and she also specializes in understanding the root causes of doubt. She and her husband, John, have been married for 13 years and minister together as an apologetics team. She can never sneak up on anybody because of her chronic hiccups, which you can hear occasionally on the podcast.

Hoping you all had a wonderful day of slowing down and giving thanks for all the blessings God has given you in life!
The world continues to move in the fast lane, where a speed limit tends to be a suggesting starting point and all things are off limits if it falls outside of woke ideology.
Things will never be "normal" if you continue to let media be your compass. Christians, whatever happened to "nothing is new under the sun?" Unless you completely surrender to the world, the world will never stop trying to instill gear and panic into you. So, Christians, where will you stand?

Today I finally got to have Justin on my podcast! We have been trying for months to make it happen and finally our schedule of "stars" aligned. ( I kid lol.).
Justin is a US Marine vet, father of 2, married to the beautiful and lovely inside and out Victoria and now running for Wisconsin Secretary of State. He is the host of Badger State Resistance podcast, and has become a comrade and friend in the road of freedom defending.
He stays busy making his rounds throughout Wisconsin fighting for the freedoms that are so gravely at stake in our state and country. He has been to some of our very own Manitowoc Stop The Mandate rallies. I first met Justin at a freedom rally held at the Green Bay distillery where Jonathan Wichmann, Kyle Yudes, Jen Lynn and Dr. Patrick Flynn were speaking.
Today, Justin will tell you everything he plans to do when he becomes Secretary of State and what the position of Secretary of State ACTUALLY does!!
You can follow Justin at the link below:

Today I talk about specifically the mental health struggles of your children, youth, and young adults, as well as those in domestic abuse relationships.
Suicide increased 70% between 2006-and 2018. This was PRE C WORD (yes I get flagged for writing even the word anymore) era. This is an astronomical issue that our parents, caretakers, schools and churches needs to be more aware of than ever. As Christians, we can ALL help bring this number down with God's help.
I will discuss an interview podcast I listened to between Joe Rogan and Jewel who had a lot of wise and helpful information as well that they shared!
Jewel's website I mention in the podcast can be found here:

Jas Rawlinson is a best-selling author, award-nominated book coach and resilience speaker who specialises in stories that change lives. Growing up in a small country town, Jas first fell in love with the power of literature as a young girl, and would often disappear into the world of writing to escape from the family violence in her home. It was here that she made a promise to one day find a way to support other survivors and victims of domestic violence; and in 2016, she fulfilled that promise by co-founding Brisbane's first permanent domestic violence memorial. She is a Yahoo Finance top 10 book coach and has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives through global media outlets, including ABC, New Idea, and Authority Magazine. Endorsed by high-profile names including Kevin Hines, Lifeline and Livin, Jas speaks regularly on issues such as domestic violence and suicide prevention, and this year, will star on the award-winning TV series 'Adventure All Stars' as part of her mission to end child trafficking. Above all, Jas believes that everyone has a story with the power to inspire, impact, and change lives.

"God never leaves you nor forsakes you.” I’ve heard that before. “Jesus will leave the 99 to come after you.” I’ve heard that one too. Meanwhile, fear creeps up when life hurls a season of loneliness our way, and poof! Churchy sayings hold as much weight as thin air. Believe it or not, God is cheering us on and inviting us to thrive amidst the loneliness. Yes, it’s weird and scary, but this emptiness is a safe space where you get to hear the God of everything speak the loudest.
WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT NOT SO BY MYSELF:
One of the biggest lies we've learned to embrace is that we're alone in our pain. It keeps us trapped in a cycle of guilt, shame, and isolation so that even when we're struggling, we know how to put on a brave face and pretend everything is just fine.
Peyton Garland is here for exactly none of that. She has lived with the agony of isolation, both physically and mentally, and is here to show us that just when we think we can't make it another second, there will always be a hope we can hold on to. With her approachable sense of humor and deeply rooted faith, Peyton offers us a way through our pain by sharing her own powerful story of redemption. —Wendi Nunnery, author of Good Enough: Learning to Let Go of Perfect for the Sake of Holy.
Having had the chance to sit down across the table from Peyton and get to know her better, I can tell you confidently that she is for you. She is a cheerleader, already on the sidelines of your story- ready to root you on as you push further into what God has for you. Get ready to journey with her through the highs and lows of what it looks like to chase after God, deal with loneliness, and learn how to sit in the often-uncomfortable rhythms of faith and trust. There is a beauty and a transformation that only comes from learning to become comfortable with the uncomfortable - Peyton has been through that transformation and this book is proof. —Hannah Brencher, author of If You Find This Letter: My Journey to Find Purpose Through Hundreds of Letters to Strangers and Come Matter Here, TED Talk speaker, and founder of The World Needs More Love Letters."
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Peyton Garland is a web content writer for Family Christian, Christian Cinema, and Dove.org. An Atlanta lover and avid traveler, she enjoys hunting down the best hiking spots, dilapidated churches, and homegrown pizzerias with her husband and their two furry babies, Alfie and Daisy.
